A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality post-operative care and ensure safe, smooth recoveries for patients following surgical procedures. Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with current credentials
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU or related critical care setting
  • Proficient skills in patient assessment, pain management, and rapid response to changes in patient status
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery, medication administration, and airway management
  • Ability to interpret EKGs and monitor vital signs effectively
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor patients post-surgery and respond promptly to complications or adverse reactions
  • Administer necessary medications and treatments as ordered by the medical team
  • Assess pain levels and implement appropriate interventions for comfort and safety
  • Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and post-discharge care
  • Accurately document patient status, interventions, and progress in EMR systems
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care

    $2,106 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
