Sunbelt Nursing - RN-ICU Contract Today Apply

Seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide critical care within a dynamic ICU environment serving both adult and pediatric patients with a range of acute medical needs. This contract assignment offers you the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a fast-paced setting, utilizing advanced technology and delivering high-quality care.

Schedule:

3x12 hour night shifts per week

Assignment Length:

13 weeks

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license for Oklahoma or a Compact State

Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (must be AHA accredited)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for all RNs

Proficient with Cerner EMR and Pixys automated medication dispensing system

Comfortable with a 2:1 ICU staffing ratio caring for both adults and pediatric patients with acute conditions

Able to wear navy blue scrubs as required for RN staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse, acutely ill adult and pediatric patient population

Assess, monitor, and document patient status, promptly recognizing and responding to patient deterioration

Administer medication and therapies using Pixys and Cerner systems

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, patients, and families to develop and implement care plans

Uphold strict patient safety and infection control standards

Effectively respond to emergencies and participate in code situations as needed
