This travel assignment allows you to collaborate with experienced clinical leaders and work seamlessly alongside a multidisciplinary team. Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
  • No call required
  • Holiday coverage: Expectation to work 75% of holidays
  • Up to 6 days approved time off (excluding holidays; add to contract if unable to meet contracted hours)
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (not open to first-time travelers)
  • Competency in general ICU procedures including ventilator care, CRRT, invasive line management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, blood product administration, wound care, and sedation/vasopressors management
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage care for vented, stroke, GI bleed, overdose, and trauma patients
  • Patient ratios: 1:1-3, fostering impactful relationships and effective care
  • Engage with advanced EMR and equipment (EPIC, Phillips monitors, Arctic Sun, CRRT, etc.)
  • Responsible for phlebotomy; support from CNAs, RTs, and intensivists 24/7
  • Flexible to float within the regional system as needed—you remain on the clock if floated mid-shift
