Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Current, valid LPN or LVN license in California
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatrics preferred
  • Ability to respond promptly and effectively to student health needs, including seizure monitoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and staff
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver general health support and respond to daily needs in the Health Office
  • Perform routine care and health checks for elementary-aged students
  • Monitor students identified as needing seizure observation
  • Maintain accurate documentation of health incidents and interventions
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals as needed
  • Assist with medication administration under school and district policies
  • This role is perfectly suited for those seeking consistent afternoon hours: regular shifts from 2 to 6 PM, with occasional early start days (11:39 AM to 6 PM, as notified). Your support will make a direct difference in each student’s school experience.
