Position Summary
The School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports the health and well-being of students by providing nursing care, administering medications, responding to health concerns, and helping ensure a safe learning environment.


Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with physician orders and school policies.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess and respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Support students with chronic medical conditions and special healthcare needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers.
• Assist with health screenings and promote student wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and school health policies.


Qualifications
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous pediatric, school nursing, clinic, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment.
