Advance your nursing career by providing patient-centered care in a highly respected medical-surgical unit in Chesterfield, MO. This contract-based RN opportunity involves working with a dynamic team on a neuro-focused floor in a well-established acute care environment. Your expertise will contribute to optimal patient outcomes, utilizing advanced practices and compassionate care standards.

Schedule:

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 36 or 48 hours per week (please indicate preference when applying)
  • Weekend coverage as required (every other weekend)
  • Orientation held on day shift (full week availability needed)
  • 13-week assignment

    • Qualifications:

  • Current RN license, or eligibility for licensure, in Missouri
  • BLS certification from AHA (required)
  • ACLS certification from AHA (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience (required)
  • Additional 1 year of neuro nursing experience (preferred)
  • Ability to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
  • Compliance with seasonal flu vaccination policies (November 1 – April 1)

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care across the lifespan using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, high-quality patient care
  • Advocate for patient rights and confidentiality at all times
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards consistent with facility values and mission
  • Provide mentorship to ancillary staff and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Participate in flexible scheduling, including making up limited time off as required
