A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work full-time supporting student health needs at a school campus. This is an onsite, contract-based role covering a maternity leave from early October through the end of February, with the possibility of extension. The role requires close collaboration with an RN in a nurse’s office environment, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of students throughout the school day.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
  • Qualifications:

  • Current, active Washington State CNA license required
  • Prior CNA experience in a school setting is essential
  • Demonstrated experience providing care for individuals with tracheostomies and G-tubes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with an RN
  • Commitment to a supportive and professional environment for children and staff
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the RN in the nursing office with routine and emergency care for students
  • Provide support and oversight for students with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and G-tube management
  • Help maintain accurate health records and assist in distributing daily medications as directed
  • Ensure a safe and positive environment for students receiving care
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school health protocols and legal requirements
