Schedule:

  • 10-hour day shifts, 6:45am–5:15pm
  • Specific working days to be discussed during the interview process
  • Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT) required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least two years of recent experience in an operating room setting
  • Strong grasp of sterile technique, instrumentation, and surgical protocols
  • Professional adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Commitment to collaboration and safety for both patients and the surgical team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room with necessary instrumentation, sterile supplies, and equipment
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team before and during procedures
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout all stages of surgery
  • Perform surgical counts, handle specimens, and support documentation processes
  • Assist with room turnover to ensure efficient flow between surgical cases
  • Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork with nursing staff, surgeons, and anesthesia providers
