Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT)
  • Proven experience assisting with a range of surgical procedures
  • Solid understanding of sterile technique, instrumentation, and OR protocols
  • Ability to anticipate needs of surgeons and maintain an organized, efficient workspace
  • Collaborative approach with ability to communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and support staff
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care
  • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist surgical team throughout procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed
  • Maintain sterile field and adhere strictly to infection control protocols
  • Accurately track instruments and sponges, ensuring all counts are correct
  • Support with patient positioning and safe transfer to and from the operating suite
  • Clean, restock, and prepare OR for subsequent procedures
  • Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to deliver seamless, quality patient care

    $1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
