Part-Time School Nurse (ESY & NSY)

Location: Bound Brook, NJ
Position Type: Part-Time (School-Based Nursing Support)

Schedule

Extended School Year (ESY): Starts in July for approximately 6 weeks 
Regular School Year: September 2026- June 2027

Daily Hours:

Morning: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Approximately 4 hours per school day total

Job Responsibilities

Be picked up by school transportation (bus) in the morning

Accompany student on bus ride to school

Escort student and return to nurse’s vehicle after morning drop-off

Meet student in the afternoon

Ride bus with student from school to home

Ideal Candidate

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Experience in pediatrics or school nursing preferred

Must be able to administer anti-seizure medication

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.70 to $57.70. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
