Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within pediatric, school, or healthcare environments preferred
  • Skilled in working with children with medical complexities, such as oxygen support and suctioning
  • Ability to use sound clinical judgment while collaborating with educators and parents
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one nursing care for a PreK student in a wheelchair
  • Monitor vital signs, administer oxygen as needed, and perform suctioning procedures
  • Create a supportive and safe atmosphere within the school setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring coordinated care and communication with family members
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered and any incidents or concerns
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to established health protocols throughout the school year
  • Position Details:

  • Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
  • Potential to combine with a full-day Wednesday part-time role in the same school
  • Assignment dates: July 29th through May 27th
