Pediatric School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Evanston, Illinois

Step into a key role supporting the well-being of students as a School RN in a dynamic therapeutic school setting located close to Evanston, IL. This contract opportunity offers a blend of traditional office-based nursing with the flexibility to provide care throughout the school, truly making a daily difference in the lives of children and adolescents.

In this full-time position, you will serve as a regular Health Office Nurse, managing clinical responsibilities and responding to student needs throughout the school day. Among the students, one has a diagnosed diabetes, so experience in diabetic management is highly valued. Unlike typical nurse roles, you'll be actively called to student locations within the building, maintaining communication and collaboration across staff, while also having a dedicated office space. Collaboration with education teams may involve attending IEP meetings, ensuring that medical input helps drive effective educational plans.
