Key Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license

Recent experience as a Psychiatric RN or in a behavioral health/mental health setting

Solid knowledge of therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques

BLS certification required

Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient advocacy skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with providers, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

Conduct mental status evaluations, monitor changes, and document progress on individualized care plans

Administer prescribed medications, monitor effects, and educate patients and families on medication management

Provide direct and indirect nursing care, including therapeutic interventions and assistance with daily activities as needed

Respond calmly and effectively to crisis situations, ensuring patient and staff safety

Facilitate individual and group activities promoting recovery and emotional well-being

Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate safe and effective treatment plans

Maintain accurate, timely records and adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

$2,123 - $2,322/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
