Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Proficient with sterile technique and the operation of monitoring equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required
  • Schedule:

  • Contract-based assignment (exact duration determined at placement)
  • Hours and shift details provided during interview process
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other cardiac procedures
  • Prepare and monitor patients throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedural phases
  • Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and provide emergency interventions as needed
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control protocols
  • Accurately document all aspects of care, from procedure details to patient status changes
  • Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and recovery
