Experienced professionals with a background in Cath Lab nursing are sought for a dynamic contract opportunity. This role calls for a Registered Nurse with specialized Cath Lab expertise to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 1 weekend per month, with call coverage incorporated into the rotation
  • Weekday call: 4-5 days per pay period, scheduled as part of overall shift requirements
  • Call details:
  • Weekday: End of shift through 0730 the following morning, Monday through Friday, according to call rotations
  • Weekend: End of shift Friday through 0730 Monday as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Strong grasp of cardiac procedures, vascular access, and patient monitoring
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly, multi-task, and function efficiently within a collaborative team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assess, and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and related procedures
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
  • Operate specialized Cath Lab equipment with accuracy and attention to safety
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including providing advanced cardiac life support as needed
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of patient status and procedural details
  • Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, post-care, and recovery guidelines

    $2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
