An exceptional opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses in the Cath Lab, offering a contract role with a dynamic healthcare team serving a diverse patient population. This position emphasizes high-quality, patient-focused care and requires a robust clinical skill set in a specialized procedural environment.

Schedule and On-Call Details:

  • Call coverage: 4-5 days per pay period, including 1 weekend per month (weekend call is incorporated in the total).
  • Weekday call: From end of shift until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday as scheduled.
  • Weekend call: From end of shift Friday through 7:30 a.m. Monday during assigned weekend.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Recent experience working in a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting.
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and Basic life support (BLS) certifications.
  • Strong IV access, telemetry interpretation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in acute care situations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, anticipating needs and promptly addressing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines.
  • Facilitate safe patient transitions pre- and post-procedure, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and providing detailed patient education.
