Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab environment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Comprehensive understanding of cardiac procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care
  • Proficiency with monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic measurements
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively to rapidly changing clinical situations
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterizations and other cardiac procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
  • Monitor vital signs and patient status during procedures, recognizing and responding promptly to any changes
  • Administer prescribed medications and assist with sedation per protocol
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other team members in the lab to deliver seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and procedural details
  • Educate patients and families on pre-procedural and post-care instructions to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Cath Lab environment

    $2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
