An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Cath Lab procedures. This contract role is ideal for nurses passionate about delivering high-quality cardiac care in a dynamic setting. Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in a Cath Lab setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills, especially in high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency in monitoring patients’ vital signs and responding to emergencies
  • Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, medications, and interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proven track record of supporting physicians during catheterizations, angioplasties, and related procedures

    • Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Assist with the preparation, operation, and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff
  • Administer medications and IV fluids as required
  • Document patient care, assessments, and procedural details accurately
  • Respond quickly to any changes in patient condition, employing critical intervention skills as needed
  • Educate patients and families about pre- and post-procedure care
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards

    $2,503 - $2,638/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
