Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal care.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes and implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications, perform advanced cardiac monitoring, and support patients on various cardiac assist devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals, effectively communicating patient needs and care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-care instructions, and cardiac health management.
  • Uphold strict safety, infection control, and documentation standards in accordance with governing regulations.
  • Schedule:

  • Full-time contract assignment (exact shift schedule provided during interview)
  • Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in cardiovascular intensive care or ICU/cardiac environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with advanced cardiac monitoring systems and equipment.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
