Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license.
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and post-operative cardiac patient care preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress situations and make swift, sound clinical decisions.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor hemodynamics, and implement physician-ordered treatment plans.
  • Administer complex cardiac medications, titrate drips, and manage invasive lines and equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures, post-operative care, and ongoing treatment.
  • Accurately document patient status, interventions, and progress in electronic medical records.
  • Uphold infection control practices, safety protocols, and confidentiality at all times.

    $2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
