Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract-based assignment

    • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • At least one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry unit
  • Solid assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to monitor and interpret telemetry readings
  • Familiarity with current nursing best practices, protocols, and safety standards
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Excellent team collaboration skills and commitment to patient-centered care

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in Med Surg and Telemetry settings
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital signs, including continuous ECG monitoring
  • Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families about illness and recovery processes
  • Uphold infection prevention and patient safety practices at all times
  • Respond promptly and effectively to acute changes in patient conditions
