Looking for a rewarding nursing opportunity in a dynamic medical-surgical environment? This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality care, utilizing your clinical expertise and adaptability. You will work with a dedicated healthcare team supporting patients across med-surg units during a 13-week contract.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Night shifts
  • Flexible floating to equal or lesser acuity units as needed

    • Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in Michigan
  • At least 2 years of recent med-surg RN experience
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments
  • Willingness to float to other units, including the possibility of providing care in a lockdown unit
  • Preferred: Base telemetry experience

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients on medical-surgical units
  • Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, implementing interventions as needed
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, ancillary staff, and other nurses
  • Support patient and family education on care plans, medication, and health maintenance
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and standards
  • Float to equal or lesser acuity levels as required by supervisor or unit needs

    $1,688 - $1,847/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
