Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Recent experience in a hospital NICU setting
  • Competency with neonatal assessment and interventions
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
  • Capability to respond rapidly and remain composed under pressure
  • Ability to document thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
  • Monitor vital signs, provide respiratory and nutritional support, and administer medications
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other team members to coordinate patient care
  • Educate and support parents and families about infant conditions, procedures, and developmental care
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment, adhering to policies and infection control protocols
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best NICU practices
