Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Includes required night and weekend call
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Proficiency and experience with transplant procedures (kidney and liver transplants are essential)
  • 3+ years of relevant Operating Room nursing experience (preferred)
  • Certification(s) in perioperative nursing considered an asset
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
  • Desired Experience:

  • Background in advanced procedures: total joints, spine surgery, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
  • Comfortable working within a high-functioning, 16-room surgical department
  • Collaborative approach and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
  • Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in a range of operative procedures, ensuring the highest standard of patient care
  • Participate in transplant procedures with a skilled clinical team
  • Maintain and monitor sterile environments and surgical safety protocols
  • Document accurately using Meditech EMR
  • Respond promptly to emergency surgery call-ins as scheduled
  • Uphold departmental policies, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
