An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to work on a contract basis within a well-equipped and supportive surgical department. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and seeks to provide top-tier perioperative care.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with current BLS certification required
  • Recent Operating Room experience, especially in Ortho, Spine, Davinci, Mako, Globus, and Laparoscopic procedures
  • Strong skills in perioperative nursing and ability to adapt to a dynamic OR schedule
  • Comfort with Stryker equipment and proficiency in using Meditech EMR preferred
  • A collaborative approach and dedication to teamwork ensures a great fit
  • High professional standards; light blue OR scrubs provided onsite for required attire

    • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, efficient, and quality nursing care during surgical procedures
  • Work closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and other nursing staff in a four-OR suite plus one endoscopy suite
  • Participate in surgical case preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-operative care as needed
  • Support a culture of collaboration and communication within a small, experienced team
  • Adhere to all facility and unit-specific guidelines, maintaining compliance with regulations and best practices
