Specialty nursing professionals with PACU experience are invited for an impactful contract role supporting patients through post-anesthesia care. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications current and maintained throughout assignment
  • Solid assessment and critical thinking abilities in a fast-paced, post-surgical environment
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate patient, family, and multidisciplinary team interactions
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and treatment plans
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide vigilant monitoring and effective care for patients emerging from anesthesia
  • Assess post-operative status and vital signs, responding rapidly to changes and emergencies
  • Administer medications, including pain management and anesthesia reversal agents as directed
  • Offer reassurance and expert guidance to patients and families throughout the recovery experience
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress
  • Collaborate with physicians and other care professionals to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
  • This contract assignment presents an excellent opportunity to further develop PACU nursing expertise while earning competitive weekly compensation from $2300 to $2650, based on skills and experience.
