A hospital in Southern Idaho is searching for skilled Registered Nurses experienced in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to fulfill an important contract assignment. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-acuity PICU setting
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications
  • Experience with ventilators, advanced drips, and pediatric critical care equipment
  • Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills
  • Ability to respond confidently in emergencies and adapt to fast-changing scenarios
  • Schedule/Hours:

  • Rotating shifts (day and night)
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and adjust pediatric interventions as required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists
  • Educate and support patients’ families with compassion and clarity
