Registered Nurse (RN) – Elementary School Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time school nursing position in an elementary school. This is a contracted opportunity starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year, with a high likelihood of renewal for the following school year.
Position Details:
Location: Elementary School
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: End of the school year, with a high likelihood of renewal
Setting: Elementary school health office
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and support to students throughout the school day.
Assess student health needs and respond to illnesses and injuries.
Administer medications and treatments as needed.
Maintain accurate student health records and documentation.
Communicate with school staff and families regarding student health concerns.
Help maintain a safe and healthy school environment.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Strong communication, organization, and assessment skills.
Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay based on experience and school budget.
Benefits available, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k).
