Position Details

Location: Aurora, CO

Schedule: 33 hours per week

Days: Tuesday–Friday

School Year: 2026-2027

Setting: School Health Room

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to students in the school health office.

Assess and treat student illnesses and injuries.

Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as prescribed.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.

Maintain accurate health records and documentation.

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness.

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal health regulations.

Qualifications

Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.

CDE Special Provider

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Previous pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
