Step into a vital role supporting patients and families during one of life’s most profound moments by providing expert nursing care in a Labor & Delivery unit. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who brings compassion, skill, and composure to every shift.

Schedule and Duration:

  • 13-week contract
  • Shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
  • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
  • Proficient with EPIC electronic health records
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care in high-acuity L&D environments
  • Compliance with 50-mile radius rule
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Monitor maternal and fetal health, promptly addressing changes in status
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, perform assessments, provide postpartum support, and assist during deliveries
  • Document patient interactions and care accurately using EPIC
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and other multidisciplinary team members
  • Educate mothers and families on postpartum care and newborn needs
  • Maintain a calm, reassuring presence in emergent and routine situations

    $1,832 - $2,004/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
