Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • School Nurse Credential (CSN) preferred, but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing highly valued
  • Strong adaptability—ability to transition between school sites and adapt to evolving protocols
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a team-centered culture
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and first aid to students and staff in accordance with school district policies
  • Manage daily health needs, medication administration, and chronic health conditions
  • Support the development, education, and enforcement of health protocols to ensure safety and wellbeing
  • Alternate between two assigned school locations on a set schedule
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records
  • Communicate consistently with teachers, counselors, and administration regarding student health
  • Educate students about healthy lifestyle choices and assist with preventive health strategies
