Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ health needs in local elementary and specialized school settings on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is ideal for a compassionate, skilled RN or LPN eager to provide 1:1 care. The assignment begins August 24, 2026, and is set for one month with the opportunity to extend based on the needs of students and districts.
You will be assigned to one student per site, with each assignment lasting approximately one month. Locations may vary throughout the school year depending on needs and candidate fit, all within the surrounding St. Louis area, including Ladue and St. Louis elementary schools. Your responsibilities will focus on direct 1:1 support for students with complex medical needs—ranging from seizure management to G-tube assistance, wheelchair or stroller mobility support, and assistance with personal and self-care. Assignments include daily bus rides and medication management. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm (37.5 hours/week).
