Make a difference in the lives of students in the Silverdale, WA area by providing skilled nursing care in a school setting. Opportunities are available for both part-time and full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) with a passion for supporting children’s health and well-being throughout the school day.

Available Schedules:

  • Part-time: 4 hours per day, 4 days per week, during the school year, working 1:1 with a preschool student.
  • Full-time: Standard school hours.

    • Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based nursing preferred.
  • Skilled in tracheostomy and airway management.
  • Comfortable managing G-tubes, including site care and feeding administration.
  • Ability to assist students with visual impairments, mobility transfers, and safety.
  • Experience with toileting/diapering care for students as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one nursing care to students with complex medical needs.
  • Perform ongoing airway assessments and trach suctioning as needed.
  • Attach ventilator support and manage ventilation equipment.
  • Administer G-tube and PO feedings, following care plans and parent directions.
  • Support students with mobility challenges and provide transfer assistance.
  • Maintain proper toileting/diapering routines with dignity and respect.
  • Administer prescribed medications during school hours.
  • Ensure student safety and well-being during bus transportation, as required.
