Step into a dynamic telemetry environment and provide exceptional care to patients within a modern, well-supported intermediate care unit. This contract position offers valuable experience alongside a skilled team dedicated to heart cath recovery and cardiac monitoring, utilizing the latest in hospital nursing technology.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7AM – 7PM shifts
  • Flexible scheduling based on unit needs

    • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with telemetry experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Strong independent work habits and outstanding critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues in fast-paced settings
  • Positive, engaged attitude with a patient-first approach

    • Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience with central line management and medication drips
  • Familiarity with heart catheterization recovery and bubble studies
  • Proficiency using PCA and IV pumps, chest tubes, and Meditech EMR

    • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver attentive, high-quality nursing care for a diverse telemetry caseload (including heart cath patients)
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient status and response to interventions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Handle central lines, medication drips, and devices according to established protocols
  • Support patients and families through education, comfort, and compassionate communication
