Deliver exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced telemetry unit as a skilled Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity is ideal for a motivated RN with a background in Telemetry nursing who is eager to advance their clinical experience while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Recent experience working in Telemetry or similar acute care setting
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and monitoring skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities

    • Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and other acute health conditions
  • Evaluate telemetry readings and report any changes in patient status to physicians promptly
  • Record, document, and update patient information using electronic medical records
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, post-discharge instructions, and lifestyle adjustments
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with standards and protocols
