Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide rapid assessments and implement life-saving interventions for ER patients
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV therapies per physician orders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and manage complex cases
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
  • Document observations, treatments, and patient progress accurately and efficiently
  • Triage incoming patients according to severity of need and established protocols
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics

    • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, valid RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in an emergency department setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (other certifications as required by facility)
  • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Capacity to prioritize and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and emergency care protocols
