Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN or RN license (state-specific credentialing required).
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or public health setting preferred.
  • Confident in performing assessments, first aid, medication administration, and care planning for students with acute and chronic needs.
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergencies, including asthma, diabetes, allergies, and injuries.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care, health assessments, and interventions to students as needed throughout the school day.
  • Manage students’ individualized health care plans, coordinating with educators, counselors, and families.
  • Administer prescribed medications and document all health-related data accurately.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment where student health is a priority.
  • Provide health education to students and staff on hygiene, disease prevention, and wellness.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate with community health resources as required.
