Key Qualifications:

  • Valid CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or LPN/LVN license in Arizona
  • Previous experience working with pediatric patients or in a school/group home setting is preferred
  • Strong understanding of care protocols for medically fragile individuals
  • Ability to work independently, with compassion and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills when collaborating with students, families, and school staff
  • Current CPR certification is highly desirable
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, individualized medical and physical care to a female student throughout the school day (7:30am-3:45pm, Monday through Friday)
  • Monitor vital signs, support personal care needs, and administer prescribed medications as directed
  • Maintain clear and accurate health records and update care plans as needed
  • Respond promptly and skillfully to medical emergencies, ensuring the student’s safety at all times
  • Facilitate the student’s engagement in classroom activities and transitions within the school or group home environment
  • Foster a supportive and structured atmosphere, promoting the student’s dignity and independence
