Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted CNA license required
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • Familiarity with monitoring heart conditions and responding to choking hazards strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with students, staff, and families
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive 1:1 care to a high school student, addressing unique medical needs in a supportive educational environment
  • Monitor for signs of medical distress and respond promptly to ensure student safety
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, school personnel, and other professionals for care planning and support
  • Document observations, interventions, and communication with appropriate stakeholders
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of student health information
