Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active LPN license in New Jersey (required)
  • Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to assess health concerns, administer medications, and respond to emergencies
  • Knowledge of state and federal school health regulations and protocols
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily nursing care, including first aid and medication administration
  • Document health visits, interventions, and treatments accurately
  • Track and manage students’ medical needs, including chronic illnesses and allergies
  • Collaborate with school administration and teachers on health plans and accommodations
  • Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and preventive care
  • Participate in emergency response procedures as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical nursing standards
