As a member of the school health services, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide compassionate care, health education, and essential support for students with diverse medical needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of CA, with the ability to meet school-specific onboarding requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric, school, or adolescent health care preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving caseloads and school assignments.
  • Must complete district-required onboarding processes, which may include fingerprinting.
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, first aid, and chronic condition management.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, students, and families regarding health matters and health plan implementation.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential health records per school and district policy.
  • Participate in health screenings and immunization compliance reviews.
  • Support the overall health and wellness initiatives of the district.
  • Receive guidance and supervision as designated by the district.
