We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide healthcare support to students during a summer school assignment in Fernley, Nevada. Full-Time Summer School Position
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care and health services to students
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
Monitor and assess student health needs
Respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
Support a safe and healthy school environment
Qualifications
Active Nevada LPN/LVN License required
Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Commitment to student health, safety, and confidentiality
