Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid RN license
  • Prior experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage elementary-age students’ health needs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative educational team

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students during school hours
  • Administer medications and coordinate care plans for students with chronic health conditions
  • Monitor and assess students’ health, responding to illness and injuries promptly
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support children’s academic and physical well-being
  • Provide health education and preventive care to promote a safe school environment
