Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, unrestricted RN or CNA license in Illinois
  • School nursing experience preferred; open to strong clinical backgrounds with a drive for pediatric care
  • Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to student health needs and emergencies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
  • Skilled in administering medication, routine treatments, and monitoring chronic conditions
  • Respectful, compassionate, and proactive approach to student care

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily health assessments, immediate first aid, and routine care to students and staff
  • Manage individualized healthcare plans for students with ongoing needs
  • Coordinate care and communicate with faculty, parents, and external healthcare providers as needed
  • Maintain accurate health records and support compliance with school health policies
  • Educate students and staff on wellness practices and promote healthy habits across campus
  • Adapt care in line with school activities, schedules, and seasonal needs
  • Collaborate closely with Natasha Baldwin and the ESY team to enhance student safety and inclusion
