Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license required
  • Previous experience as a school nurse, Certified School Nurse (CSN), or similar roles preferred

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners
  • Familiarity with health protocols such as medication administration, chronic condition management, and emergency care
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple situations with professionalism and empathy

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive health services to students in grades K-12, addressing both routine and emergency needs
  • Manage medication administration, first aid, and health screenings
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with specific health requirements
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students, families, and staff on health-related concerns
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with both state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings, health education initiatives, and ongoing professional development
