Make a meaningful impact by supporting a young student's well-being in an elementary school setting. As a School Registered Nurse, you’ll work one-on-one with a child managing a range of medical needs including a feeding tube, seizure disorder, and respiratory challenges. This contract opportunity runs from September 8th, 2026 through June 24th, 2027, offering the chance to provide consistent, dedicated care during both transit to/from school and throughout the school day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license is required
  • Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred
  • Skilled in managing feeding tubes, seizure protocols, and respiratory health interventions
  • Ability to remain vigilant, organized, and compassionate in a school environment
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare providers
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized, attentive care for the student on your caseload
  • Accompany and assist the student during transportation times as well as throughout the entire school day
  • Administer medical treatments, medication, and emergency interventions as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate records of medical care and communicate relevant updates with the interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment
  • Educate and support the student in managing their health needs with dignity and respect
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time schedule (22.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday) while earning $40/hour.
