Your professional expertise will be essential as you address varied needs such as seizure response, medication administration, and allergy management with the use of EpiPens. Ideal qualifications and desired experience include:

  • Active RN license, with prior school nursing experience highly valued
  • Knowledge of pediatric medication administration and emergency protocols
  • Confidence to handle seizures and allergic reactions calmly and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and faculty

  • Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct onsite nursing care to elementary and middle school students

  • Maintain clear communication with staff, students, and their guardians
  • Educate students and staff on wellness, injury prevention, and healthy practices
  • Ensure all health office protocols comply with current state and district regulations
