Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with credentials for school nursing
  • Recent experience working in a school setting (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care to school-aged children
  • Skilled in administering medication, documenting health records, and managing health emergencies
  • Excellent communication abilities for working with students, parents, and staff
  • Comfortable commuting between two campus locations
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site nursing care to students and staff across both campuses
  • Monitor and respond to health concerns, minor illnesses, and injuries during school hours
  • Manage medication administration and maintain accurate health records
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and outside healthcare providers
  • Educate students on wellness, hygiene, and preventive health practices
  • This contract role is for 37.5 hours per week across two school campuses, offering the chance to positively influence a diverse student community.
