Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required
  • Prior experience as a school nurse or in pediatric, public health, or related nursing settings is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to respond effectively to varied health needs within a school environment
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, managing chronic conditions, and responding to health emergencies
  • Develop and implement individual health plans for students with specific medical needs
  • Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
  • Conduct health screenings and collaborate with staff to support a safe and healthy campus
  • Maintain thorough, confidential health records and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
  • Educate students and staff on health practices, wellness, and disease prevention
  • Serve as a resource for health-related concerns and participate in educational planning
