Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RN license in good standing
  • Proven clinical skills in stepdown and progressive care unit (PCU) settings
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced or high-acuity situations
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary teamwork
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Previous experience with monitoring, titration of drips, and managing complex patients preferred

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to stepdown and PCU patients
  • Monitor patient condition, perform frequent assessments, and respond rapidly to changes
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members for optimal care plans
  • Administer medications, manage IV lines, and operate specialized equipment per protocols
  • Support patients and their families by delivering education, comfort, and compassion throughout hospital stay
  • Accurately document care, progress, and interventions in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards

    $1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
